Welcome to the Rock Valley Community School District! Welcome to the Rock Valley Community School District! The 2009-2010 school year marks my 13th year as superintendent. I am proud to serve the community of Rock Valley and nearly 650 students and 100+ staff members. Our school system's slogan, "Educating Today's Students for Tomorrow," communicates our commitment to creating an envirnonment in our schools and throughout our community where students will be inspired to learn, to understand, and to grow into skillful and thoughtful young citizens equipped to play vital roles in tomorrow's world. As we have said in the past and as we need to reaffirm with every new day, we want the best for every student. Student achievement is paramount, and I pledge my renewed commitment to aligning our resources with goals and strategies that are focused first and foremost on our central purpose: to enable every child to achieve at his or her highest level as measured against world class standards of academic performance. |
